Check the exact product, not just the category name.

Hard gel, builder gel, and BIAB are not interchangeable labels. Builder gel describes a broad product category; BIAB is The GelBottle's branded range. The specific formula determines its intended use and removal method. RM's published hard-gel service does not by itself confirm availability of a particular BIAB product.

There is more than one BIAB formula

The GelBottle lists both soak-off products and Hard BIAB. Its HEMA-Free BIAB guidance describes soak-off removal, while its Hard BIAB range is a hard-gel hybrid. That means 'all BIAB soaks off' is not a dependable rule. Ask for the exact product name before comparing options.

Compare your goal before comparing names

Tell the artist whether you want to maintain natural length, support a longer shape, or add extensions. Also mention how often you can return for maintenance. The appropriate appointment depends on those goals and your existing set, not simply which label is more popular online.

Understand the next appointment too

Ask whether the proposed product will be maintained with a fill-in or removed for a new application, and what that service costs. Removal methods differ between formulas. Do not use a tutorial for one product as instructions for another, or assume a stronger structure is automatically better for your nails.
